The holes themselves are lined with a thin tissue similar to scar tissue but it's not puffy, allowing you to look down into the actual bite. Multiple scars cover his back, these scars mark his shoulders, the outsides of his arms, the backs of his hands and fingers, and the backs of his legs. These scars ranging from surgical scar thick to spider web thin and are randomly placed. Some are far apart, some are closer but there are not so many that he looks polka dotted.

The ring is covered by another, protective ring of copper which hides the Deaths head ring from sight, making it look like a composite ring when viewed from the side, copper on top, silver on the bottom. Black wire-rim glasses, square frames. Black wooden Buddhist prayer beads with a white jade lotus flower hanging from the center, worn hanging from belt.

Pants: Ada's pants are a dusty sort of brown, made from fire hose canvas they are tough, durable, water proof, and flame retardant. They are double stitched along all the hems to resist tearing and have patches on the inside of the knees to resist wear. Made like jeans, the front pockets are extra deep, extending part way down the thigh. Made from the same canvas as his pants, his pockets are meant to hold sharp tools without puncturing or tearing .
Shirts: Ada wears a white dress shirt of cotton linen, tucked into his pants with the top two buttons left upon. The buttons are made from polished bone and the elbows are reinforced with oval patches of linen. Under his dress shirt he wears a white cotton ribbed wife beater, also tucked into his pants. His dress shirt is often rolled up to his elbows when he's working.
Duster: Ada wears a floor length battered dark brown leather duster. The duster buttons to the left with three black buttons made from hoof 'bone' and there are three decorative buttons on the right side. There are adjustment straps on both wrists and large pockets on both sides of the front. His coat is most often worn open. The coat has gears embroidered on the shoulders, one on each upper arm and three across the back in bronze-copper thread.
Hat: Ada wears a brown leather cowboy hat, slightly battered and beat up with small bronze, copper, and brass gears on a leather cord serving as the hat band.
Belt: A dark brown belt made of thick leather with three small pouches on each side and a larger, narrow pouch in the back. Two overlapped bronze gears form the belt buckle.
Boots: Ada wears a pair of heavy, dark brown leather cowboy style motorcycle boots. The boots have two straps made into them. One strap goes under the heel while the other goes around the ankle. The straps hook onto a bronze gear on the outside of his boots.
Gloves and Wristband: Ada wears a pair of slightly battered brown leather gloves, full fingered which have a strap at the wrist to tighten them. On his right wrist he wears a strap of dark brown leather. This strap wraps smoothly around the underside of his wrist and buckles on the top.
Bandanna: Ada often wears a dark, somewhat faded blue bandanna around his neck, folded in half and tied in the back 'outlaw' style.
